Executive Director - City of Grinnell Housing Authority (Iowa)

City of Grinnell Housing Authority seeks Executive Director to administer HUD Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program throughout Poweshiek County. Director serves as the Chief Executive Officer and secretary to the Board of Commissioners. Accounting, clerical, communication, and strong leadership skills required. Also the ability to conduct unit inspections, work with diverse populations, and resolve conflict. Preference to those with an
affordable housing background. Experience in government, non-profit, or human service agency beneficial.
 
Valid driver's license and automobile required. Candidate must be a non-tobacco user, pass a pre-employment background check, drug test, and be bondable. Residency within 15 miles of Grinnell required. Full-time position, wage and benefits commensurate with education and experience.
