The Minnesota Chapter of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) serves the state’s housing and community development needs. Our mission is to be the leading housing and community development organization in Minnesota by promoting strong, viable communities for all Minnesotans, particularly those with low and moderate incomes. Our goal is to enhance the knowledge and effectiveness of our members through professional development, education and advocacy.
Every day, the members of Minnesota NAHRO provide affordable housing and livable communities for all Minnesotans through the association of its agency members. Minnesota NAHRO members own or manage the majority of publicly subsidized housing including all public housing and Section 8 units across the state. Our members also administer affordable housing programs such as foreclosure prevention, homebuyer education and loan financing. In the jurisdictions they serve, member agencies address community revitalization and economic development needs.
Minnesota NAHRO looks forward to offering tools, training and technical assistance to community development providers and administrators. Explore our website to learn more about the programs, services and policies of Minnesota NAHRO.
